The Good-Bye is Shortlisted for a 2026 Signal Award!

The Good-Bye has been named a Finalist in the 2026 Signal Awards in the Mental Health category for Limited Series & Specials!

Now in its fifth year, the Signal Awards recognize the podcasts that define culture, from underground originals to front-page icons. This year's theme celebrates podcasting's risk-takers: creators who lead with authenticity and take creative chances to raise the bar. We're honored to be named alongside fellow Mental Health finalists from PRX, Texas Monthly, Ginni Media, and Together the Studio.

About The Good-Bye

Hosted by Anna Marie Precythe, The Good-Bye explores the line a life-altering experience draws through who we are, the "before" and the "after." Season 2 brought together guests Cole Imperi, Audrey Bellezza, Chris Cutino, Jabe Largen, Valen Keefer, and DS Moss for honest conversations about grief and loss in all its forms, including losses that have nothing to do with death.

This show began when Anna Marie approached me with an idea, and together we shaped it into something I'm incredibly proud of. Seeing it recognized by the Signal Awards Judging Academy means so much to both of us.

Vote for The Good-Bye

As a Finalist, The Good-Bye is now competing for a Listener's Choice Award, voted on by podcast fans around the world. Last year, listeners cast more than 385,000 votes, and every single one counts.

Voting is open now through October 15 at vote.signalaward.com. Sign up, then find us under Limited Series & Specials > Mental Health. Listener's Choice winners, along with the Judging Academy's Bronze, Silver, and Gold winners, will be announced October 20.

Thank You

A huge thank you to Anna Marie, to our editor Evan Viola, to Anjanette for bringing the show to life on social, and to every guest who trusted us with their stories. And to our listeners: thank you for sitting with us in these conversations. We'd be so grateful for your vote.
