Season 2 of Sweets Unwrapped Is Here

Season 2 of Sweets Unwrapped launches today, and we're kicking things off with an episode that hits close to home. Episode 1, "Tough Cookies," features host Carla Lalli exploring something the Girl Scout cookie program has always quietly been: a masterclass in entrepreneurship, confidence-building, and community — for young women, by young women.

I wrote and produced this series for Moonpie Media in partnership with The Atlantic and Ferrero, and I'm genuinely proud of how this one turned out. But I'll be honest — "Tough Cookies" wasn't just another episode for me. My daughter Frida is in it. She's one of 15 girls in the Girl Scout troop I lead, and watching her run her cookie booth is exactly why this work matters to me.

Mentoring young girls — helping them find their voice, trust their instincts, and back themselves — is something I carry into every project I touch. Right now, that feels more important than ever. This episode is a small but real snapshot of what it looks like when we nurture those strengths early.

It was a fun one to make. I hope you'll listen.
